GameTale 2016 was hosted by the University of Bath, specifically in room 1W 2.102.! 9 teams worked for two days and developed 9 amazing games!
Day 1 – May 29
10:00 – Breakfast
10:30 – Short introduction to GameTale, then the teams are all set up and ready to go.
11:00 – “What shall I use?!” … the teams are looking at which tools we are offering: Oculus Rift, Epson Moverio, Arduinos, 3D printed artefacts and much more …
12:00 – Lunch time
14:00 – The teams are all working on their games … full creativity mode!
17:00 – A coupe of teams are designing a boardgame while the rest are developing videogames.
19:30 – Each team does a short presentation about their amazing games. We discover that team 3 peacefully split, so we have now team 9 too!
Day 2 – May 30
8 am – Three brave GameTellers worked all night long and are still here!
9:00 – First GameTellers to arrive in the morning.
10:00 am – “The coffee is waaarm!!!!” and good morning everyone!
11:00 – Game development continue during the second day: the teams are back together!
12:00 – Lunch time: more foooodddd
14:00 – Teams are working hard to finish their games!
15:00 – Finally Coffee break … caffeine, sugar and hard work!
16:00 -Team 2 is running a blind test: Daniela, Zack and Lauren played their boardgame … Daniela won (of course …)
17:00 – The teams are polishing their games.
19:30 – Final presentation. Good work everybody!
21:30 – The End!
